Owen’s birthday was last week, but his actual party had to be scheduled for this week. Apparently this was a popular idea because we somehow wound up being invited to two more parties the same weekend. Given that one was for an old buddy and one was for his new best buddy, we didn’t have much choice but to load our schedule up.
Before all of the insanity began we had a couple of minor events to tend to. First up was crazy hair day at school.
The other event was Owen’s t-ball game on Saturday morning.
After that it was time to get ready for his party, which took place at our local bounce house emporium.
After everyone was nice and sweaty and worn out, we moved on to the now-standard cookie cake. Owen asks for one every year and we’re happy to oblige because it makes things much easier for us.
After the party we headed back to the house so Owen could bask in the glory of his spoils
He decided he liked my Christmas present better, apparently.
The other two parties were on Sunday, and the first was for our old buddy Mikey. The kids watched a movie and enjoyed a nice big cupcake cake after.
The second party was at the local generic brick building place that has no relation to LEGO, no sir.
And with that, we came to the end of party weekend. If you want to check out the rest of the photos you can click here. Otherwise we’ll be back next time when the whole family comes out to stay the night and get a bunch of photos.
