Crazy Busy (or Just Plain Crazy)

< | >

Friday evening, Jon commented that we hadn’t taken any pictures of Max throughout the week. I told him not to worry, because we would have plenty from the weekend to share with our loyal readers.

It was an extremely busy weekend, and amazingly, we all made it through it without being too exhausted on Monday!

On Saturday, we all went to our friend Chelimo’s 2nd birthday party at a gymnastics gym. (Thanks to Lucy and Shane for inviting us!) Nora, Chris and Mikey were also there, and we all had a great time! Max couldn’t run around or jump on the trampolines, but he enjoyed himself nonetheless. He had loads of fun exploring and watching the other kids. We don’t have as many pictures from the party, because everyone was moving so fast, which blurred most of the photos. However, here are a few fun shots:

What is this? Some sort of tunnel?

On Sunday, we met Mimi and Pappaw at the Dallas Arboretum, where Max visited his first pumpkin patch! At first, Max really didn’t know what to think. See, there was the whole “hay on the ground” situation.

Hey, Mom? I found this on the ground. Maybe you should vacuum!

And, also, the giant orange balls everywhere:

Um, there sure are alot of these things lying around.

Oh, and did I mention the hay on the ground?

Seriously, Mom. Can you do something about this mess?

Luckily, we managed to make it through the day without Max eating his weight in hay. We also got some really good pictures!

Max is 11 months today, so here’s our monthly monkey photo

Fine. I give up. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.

Isn’t he just the cutest thing?

Look, everyone! Pappaw is SMILING!!!!!!

After spending quite a bit of time with the pumpkins, we decided to roam around the arboretum a little bit:

They need to clean up better. These orange balls are EVERYWHERE!

After a few hours, we finally wore Max out:

Naptime? Nah…

Or did we?

Live long and prosper, people!

Max was a real trouper all weekend long. It was good preparation for the next few weekends. (Emma’s birthday is this weekend. We’re celebrating Pappaw’s, Jayden’s, and Casen’s next weekend.)

It’ll be November before we know it, then it will be Max’s turn!

We hope everyone had a good weekend and has an even better week!

See you all soon!
