You Only Turn 1 Twice

< | >

Here we are, back at home after another crazy weekend. This one wasn’t quite so bad, as we weren’t planning the party and took a few days off work to take the edge off all the driving. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves at Max’s birthday party, and we were able to throw a little Max time into the ceaseless grandchild time-lover that is his Nan. There was also cake. So we had that going for us.

In the interest of brevity, I think I’ll make this a conversational blog post.

So, Max, are you ready to go to The Woodl…wait, what are you doing with that?

Doing with what?

The trackball, Max. What are you doing with the trackball?

Nothing. Can you take these safety outlet covers out for me? I want to try something.

How about no. Let’s go see Nan and Papa.

We don’t see a problem.

Nevermind. You guys have fun. Do you want to play with that lion music-making walker thing?

Sorry, didn’t hear you. Dancing.

Do you want to open any of your…

Already on it. I know the drill, we did this last week.

You guys having fun at Max’s party?

Yes. This will do nicely.

Now that we’ve had our play time, would you like to have some turkey for lunch?

Well okay then. Think we can get one last happy photo to sign off?

Fine. Happy now?

All in all, a good weekend. Thanks again to Nan and Papa for having us, feeding us, and bathing our little baby boy! Click here to see the rest of the photos from this week. Hope everyone has a good one!
