Organizing for School, Plus Sherman

< | >

With an unexpectedly short work week in our rear view mirror, we set about the business of preparing for the end of the boys’ school year. Soon enough, Owen would be a Ladybug and Max would be a Butterfly.

This meant it was time to prepare some craft projects to keep them busy during their first week. We decided it would be fun for the kids to be able to make something with their names on it, which involved a bit of planning.

Good work makes for happy boys.

We still have a little while left in their existing classes, though, so we had another party to attend this week.

Max is all about the watermelon.

Thanks for everything, Mrs. Brandi!

Once they were done with snacks, there was plenty of time to goof off.

…and try to take a group photo.

With Friday behind us, we rolled right into the weekend with a trip to Sherman.

Which apparently means stealing Mimi’s bed to watch cartoons.

Much of the time was spent watching the little ones run around and trying to wrangle them as well as we could.

Owen and Blakely spent some time working on art.

Max, naturally, followed suit.

By the time we were ready to go, things had calmed down quite a bit.
